Dr Diana Pazhari Dafota was born in Gjakova on 24.12.1970.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kosovo in Pristina in 1999.
She completed her specialization in Pristina and Tirana, in the neonatology department in 2007.
It is among the first neonatology specialists in Kosovo, and for a while the only one in Gjakovë.
She continued her professional development at the Pediatric Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb, February-May 2010
She was also certified by Boston University School of Medicine in “Pediatric Nutrition” in 2017. 
She is a WHO (World Health Organization) certified trainer for “Perinatal Care”.
For a long time she was the leader of the Neonatology Department at the “Isa Grezda” General Hospital in Gjakova.
She is married and has two children.
